Get A Grip Skateboards has released a total of FOUR different series of skateboard wheels. Below you will find pictures and detailed information about each release


SERIES 1

  • RELEASE DATE: April, 2021
  • BASE SET: 8 wheels
  • COMPLETE SET: 9 wheels (8 white, 1 chase)

  • PRICE: There were three ways to purchase this release. Individual wheels could be purchased for $12.99, 10-packs for $100, and a case of 50 for $475
  • INFORMATION: The blind-bag skateboard wheels from Get A Grip Skateboards where released in April, 2021, and came in a silver foil bag sealed with a re-closeable zipper. The front of the bag featured the company logo and the trademark 'GPK', while the back of the bag contained a checklist and the Get A Grip mascot. Below are pictures of the blind bag from Get A Grip:

There was one wheel inside each bag, and each wheel featured one Original Series Garbage Pail Kids character on the front with a blank white back. The designs all feature a small drawing of the character's head, accompanied by their name drawn using fonts and colors to match the original sticker. Series 1 came in just one color/variation. Below is a gallery of the eight WHITE wheels from Series 1:


As mentioned above there was a 'CHASE' wheel listed on the back of the blind bag. The 'official' Chase wheel is the Black Adam Bomb (pictured below) that was inserted randomly into shipments with no odds given. Additionally Get A Grip snuck a few 'Proof' wheels into orders as well (example pictured below). Each Proof wheel represented a 'test' wheel that was created during production, but was ultimately not part of the release.

SERIES 2

  • RELEASE DATE: August, 2022 (AFTER Series 3 - see below)
  • BASE SET: 8 wheels
  • COMPLETE SET: 17 wheels (8 white, 8 pink, 1 chase)

  • PRICE: There were three ways to purchase this release. Individual wheels could be purchased for $12.99, 10-packs for $100, and a case of 50 for $475
  • INFORMATION: The Series 2 blind-bag skateboard wheels from Get A Grip Skateboards where released in August, 2022. In an interesting twist, Series 2 was released AFTER Series 3 due to the fact the shipping containers carrying Series 2 were stuck on board one of the many ships stranded off the coast of California for months (due to Covid, etc.). The front of the silver foil bag featured the company logo and the trademark 'GPK', while the back of the bag contained a checklist and the Get A Grip mascot. Below are pictures of the blind bag from Get A Grip:

...and here is a gallery of the eight PINK wheels from Series 2. These wheels featured the same artwork as the white wheels, but it was placed on a marbled pink skateboard wheel. Odds of pulling a 'pink pimple pus parallel' wheel were listed as 1:2 on the Get A Grip Skateboards website

The 'official' Chase wheel is the Black Nasty Nick (pictured below) that was inserted randomly into shipments with 1:50 odds according to the GAG website. Additionally Get A Grip snuck a few 'Proof' wheels into orders as well (example pictured below). Each Proof wheel represented a 'test' wheel that was created during production, but was ultimately not part of the release.

As mentioned above there was a 'CHASE' wheel listed on the back of the blind bag. In fact there were TWO 'official' Chase wheels for this release: the Black Gang (pictured below) that was inserted randomly into shipments with (confusingly) both a 1:20 or 1:25 odds depending which listing you looked at on the GAG website, and an Orange Gang (pictured below) that was inserted randomly with no odds given. Additionally Get A Grip snuck a few 'Proof' wheels into orders as well. Each Proof wheel represented a 'test' wheel that was created during production, but was ultimately not part of the release.

They came in a silver foil bag sealed with a re-closeable zipper. The front of the bag featured the company logo the trademark 'GPK', and Adam Bomb's head - while the back of the bag contained a checklist and the Get A Grip mascot. As mentioned above there was a 'CHASE' wheel listed on the back of the blind bag. In fact there were TWO 'official' Chase wheels for this release, the Broken Banner wheel came in both pink and black-ink-only (pictured below). These were inserted randomly with no odds given. Additionally Get A Grip included a 'Proof' wheel in every case. The Proof wheels represented a 'test' wheel that was created during production, but was ultimately not part of the release. For Series 4 the proof wheels contained the same artwork, but were white wheels (not glow in the dark)
