Series 1 Box
Series 1 Blind Bag

Each Blind Bag was made of tamper-proof foil, and featured a dual-color design pulling inspiration from the Original Series 1 and 2 wax packs from the 80s. Each Blind Bag contained three Art Prints inside. The back of the wrapper contained information about the release (Chase variants, odds, etc.)

ART PRINTS GALLERY

Each Giant Art Print measures approx 5" x 7". There is a total of 40 'Lost In Space' Series 1 Giant Art Prints to collect. These are the equivalent of a 'Base' variation, and feature the standard background design for the set.

Additionally there were five different 'Chase Variants' available for Series 1. These were randomly inserted into Blind Bags and featured the same characters but with a unique background design. Below is a Gallery of the possible Art Print variations available for Series 1, along with their odds. (#'d variants featured a gold foil numbered stamp on the back of the print)

CEL PRINTS GALLERY

Get A Grip included a fun bonus for collectors purchasing Art Prints by the box. Included with each box was one of four Ultra Rare Collector Cel Art Prints. These consisted of a printed transparency featuring just the character, and a separate backing card containing the namebar and banner. When put together it made a fun new version of a popular character

For Series 1 there were four Cel Art Prints to collect: Adam Bomb, Dead Ted, Fryin' Brian, Nasty Nick. These were randomly inserted with each box order, and collectors who purchased a case were guaranteed a complete set of four. Below is a Gallery showing an example of a Collector Cel Art Print

SERIES 2

After the massive success of Series 1 it was no surprise that Get A Grip Skateboards released a second Series of their Giant Art Prints. And considering everything sold out in a matter of minutes, collectors were more than ready to add more Giant Art Prints to their collections! Below is a detailed breakdown of the Series 2 release, which was much more robust and loaded than its predecessor

  • RELEASE DATE: April 3, 2026
  • CARD NUMBERS: n/a
  • BASE SET: 40 prints
  • VARIATION SET: (lots of chase cards & variants - see below)
  • VARIATION CHECKLIST: Click HERE to print a Variation Set Checklist
  • INFORMATION: This release is made up of 40 different GPK characters from the Original Series 3 and 4 releases from the 80s. Unfortunately due to rules put in place by Topps some familiar favorites had to be excluded (Joe Blow, Roy Bot, etc.) Giant Art Prints Series 2 was available exclusively on the Get A Grip website in the following options: (1) Blind Bag for $19.99; (5) Blind Bags for $99.00; (10) Blind Bags for $199.00; (1) Box with 24 blind bags for $475.00; (1) Case with 4 boxes for $1985.00

PACKAGING

As mentioned above, a sealed Box came with 24 Blind Bags inside. For Series 2 the cardboard was much more sturdy than Series 1, and still featured a perforated notch allowing the collector to open the top half of the box and display the packs inside...similar to counter displays from the 80s

Series 2 Box
Series 2 Blind Bag

Each Blind Bag was made of tamper-proof foil, and featured a dual-color design pulling inspiration from the Original Series 1 and 2 wax packs from the 80s. Each Blind Bag contained three Art Prints inside. The back of the wrapper contained information about the release (Chase variants, odds, etc.)

ART PRINTS GALLERY

Each Giant Art Print measures approx 5" x 7". There is a total of 40 'Warp Speed' Series 2 Giant Art Prints to collect. These are the equivalent of a 'Base' variation, and feature the standard background design for the set.

Additionally there were seven different 'Chase Variants' available for Series 2. These were randomly inserted into Blind Bags and featured the same characters but with a unique background design. Below is a Gallery of the possible Art Print variations available for Series 2, along with their odds. (#'d variants featured a gold foil numbered stamp on the back of the print)

ORIGINAL SERIES WRAPPER GALLERY

In addition to the expanded set of variants listed above, Get A Grip also included the first Giant Art Print subset to collect. The Original Series Wrapper Art Prints feature the wax pack artwork from Original Series 1 through Original Series 15

Each Wrapper Print is numbered out of 250, and there is a super-chase variation 'Snot Ball OS Wax Packs' variant for each Series that is numbered 1:1. Below is a Gallery of a few different 'standard' Wrapper Prints

For Series 2 there were four Cel Art Prints to collect: Ali Gator, Alien Ian, Charlotte Web, Grim Jim. These were randomly inserted with each box order, and collectors who purchased a case were guaranteed a complete set of four. Below is a Gallery showing an example of a Collector Cel Art Print

MYSTERY FOIL PRINTS

New for Series 2 was the inclusion of 'Mystery Foil' Prints with every box. These ultra-rare Giant Art Prints feature either Adam Bomb or Nasty Nick, contain a gold foil 'AP' stamped on the back, and were included (one per box) alongside the Collector Cel Art Prints.

These highly sought-after 'Artist Proof' collectibles are extremely rare, and limited to only four of each Mystery Foil. The breakdown is as follows:

  • TWO characters
  • TEN different backgrounds per character
  • SIX different print-variants per background
  • FOUR of each print-variant per background per character

'Background' refers to the unique background image behind the character on the Art Print. Some of these backgrounds are contained in the main release as a Chase Variant, but others are unique to the Mystery Foil Prints. Below is a gallery of Nasty Nick prints highlighting the TEN different backgrounds out there to collect

'Print Variant' refers to a unique finish put on the Art Print. These finishes are visible when light shines on the card; and while subtle, gives each variant a unique look and feel. Below is a gallery of Adam Bomb prints highlighting the SIX different print variations out there to collect

When Get A Grip states "each mystery foil is limited to only 4!" that means there are only four of the Nasty Nick with Diamond Plate Background and Large Dot Print Variant (as an example). Needless to say, there are a LOT of different Mystery Foils to collect!

These were randomly inserted with each box order, and collectors who purchased a case were guaranteed a set of four unique art prints (no duplicate backgrounds/etc)

Unlike the standard Art Prints, there is a protective film on the Mystery Foil prints that can either be left on for protection, or removed for display

Mystery Foil Back (typical)

Lastly, the back of the Mystery Foil Prints states 'Series 1'. Considering the characters featured (Adam and Nick) are part of Series 1, these variants were likely created during the original production run of Series 1 as a way to not only test print finishes, but also see which backgrounds looked best
