WATCH DETAILS:

  • MADE BY: The GPK Watches were produced and released by an unknown corporation
  • MANUFACTURED IN: The Watches were manufactured in Hong Kong
  • COPYRIGHT DATE: The copyright date on the GPK Watches reads 1986
  • PRODUCT DIMENSIONS: Each Watch measures 8" (length) with the face measuring 1" (diameter)
  • COMPLETE SET: A complete set of GPK Watches is believed to consist of 5 different characters (the ones pictured below and also Mona Loser)

One of the more obscure and sought-after bootleg items from the height of the GPK-craze were these digital Garbage Pail Kids-themed watches. These watches feature four characters from Series 1 and Series 2: Off the Wall Paul, Adam Bomb, Itchy Richie, Potty Scotty. (There is also a Mona Loser watch that has popped up on eBay and other sites throughout the years which is why I listed a complete set at 5)

The construction on these watches is just what you would expect...cheap and flimsy. Another interesting thing to note is that some of the watches have shown up with various color bands, meaning at some point either a collector changed the bands, or these were offered with a variety of different colors.
